A voluntary act of light, carried into communities that need it most.
Angel Torch Foundation is a voluntary, non-profit organization in Nigeria that provides educational support and economic empowerment — focused on children from very poor families and the upliftment of unprivileged communities.
Why Angel Torch exists
The Foundation was established to provide moral, emotional and financial support to widows, orphans and the indigent — and to promote selfless service, empathy, integrity and peaceful co-existence in the communities we serve.
We work directly in Lagos, with active outreach projects in Akwa Ibom, including Abak — reaching families who are too often overlooked, and standing with them for the long term, not just for a single donation.
Compassion first
Every family we support is treated with dignity — support is a partnership, not a hand-out.
Community-rooted
We work through churches, community leaders and local partners who know each family's story.
The purpose for which the Foundation is established
- 01To provide moral, emotional and financial succour and support to widows, orphans and the indigent.
- 02To promote selfless service, empathy, integrity and peaceful co-existence.
- 03To promote educational and vocational opportunities, and provide resources for the indigent through scholarships, tutoring, mentoring and sponsorships.
- 04To seek endowment and scholarships from churches, ministries, corporate organizations, private individuals and/or government institutions, to support and assist the less privileged and financially challenged in their educational and vocational pursuits.
- 05To procure aids, appliances, tools and equipment for the use of financially challenged, unemployed and jobless persons, widows and the indigent, and to train and empower them in the use of these resources.
- 06To provide other educational and vocational assistance to youths.
- 07To provide avenues for exploring and harnessing the potential of youths and women, and to create general awareness of the needs and welfare of the indigent.
- 08To embark upon community development projects that will have a positive and lasting impact on the lives of the people.
- 09To liaise and work closely with other organizations sharing similar aims and objectives, charting a common course toward our shared goals.
- 10To engage in and promote other activities ancillary to the objectives above.
